Safety Training For Persons With Disabilities

This is not a typical "self-defense" program! This program has been specifically designed for people with spinal cord injuries or those who use assistive devices, including wheelchairs. For ages 12 and up.

Are people with disabilities more likely to become victims of personal or property crimes? Likely not, however they may perceive that they are easier targets. Learn how to prevent becoming an easy target for crime as well as how to defend yourself effectively in a dangerous situation. Taught by Police Officers, this four-hour program will give you the confidence and peace of mind of knowing how to keep yourself safe.

What is in the 4-Hour Course?
-  How to plan for your own safety and avoid dangerous situations
-  Learning to use your Voice: A powerful weapon
-  How to prevent freezing or panic in a life threatening situation
